Nomo Smart Care
Nomo Smart Care
Nomo Smart Care provides caregivers with a connected system to help monitor the well-being of their loved ones. Designed for aging adults, people with mobility issues, and those recovering from surgeries, the system uses non-invasive sensors (not cameras) to track in-home activity.
Why we know this works
Why we know this works
We love this because it provides the right amount of information without being too intrusive. So the motion sensor setup allows for anybody in the care circle to know what movement has been taking place. And when you strategically place the sensors, you can gain a few more pieces of detail. Like, on doors to know whether somebody's been out of the house and come back. Or on a drawer where the medications are kept so you know that they are accessing their meds timely. When there are changes in behavior and fewer or more motions are happening, it automatically gives you alerts in the app. This is a really easy to program system with excellent phone based customer support with a live person. We're impressed by the level of awareness a caregiver can have without cameras or intrusive calls to check on the loved one.
