This motion sensor control device shuts off the stove when not detecting any motion in the kitchen for a full 5 minutes. However, each time it detects movement, it will continuously reset the countdown timer back to the full 5 minutes. It’s only when you are gone for the full 5 minutes that the iGuardStove will step-in and shut off the stove.

Why we know this works!

This product is compatible with four prong electric stove tops and gas stoves. The iGuardStove is a perfect solution for preventing cooking fires where cooking food is left unattended or the stove was not turned off after use. After a preset number of minutes of no activity sensed near the stove, the iGuardStove directly shuts off the stove to avoid unattended stove fires before they can start. This is a great way to allow independence with cooking while having peace of mind knowing the stove will turn off automatically to avoid a kitchen fire.
